EMT Basic Academy

EMT Basic Academy applications are now available. application

Applications can be turned in to Wolfforth City Hall starting Monday, February 1st, 2010. The last day to turn application in will be Friday, February 19th, 2010.

Course Requirements:

1. Must have completed high school or equivalent.

2. Must complete an EMT-Basic academy application.

3. Must complete the THEA Accuplacer Exam

4. An up-to-date shot record for including Tetanus, Hepatitis B, and a TB test is required before students start field rotations.

5. Current American Heart Association BLS (CPR) Card.

In addition to the cost of tuition students will be required to purchase the AAOS Emergency Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured 9th edition book. During rotations students will be required to purchase a blue collared polo (approx $22.00), black trousers, and black shoes or boots.
